Here are a few spots of interest along the road and from our travels from "here to there". On the way to California we drove through the desert. Pictured is the DESERT sands btween Arizona and California!
On a drive to Indio/Palm Springs, we drove along Highway 74, a very hilly road of switchbacks. There is an overlook along the road, so we stopped to get a picture.
See Joni overlooking Indio. We went from an elevation of about 5000 feet to 300 in about 5 miles.
While staying in Outdoor Resorts Rancho California, we climbed the mountain behind our RV site. 
Pictured is Delton overlooking our RV park. Also pictured is Joni sitting on a rock with the park behind her. Driving along Route 10 through Palm Springs, we came across "windmill alley".
Everywhere we looked, we saw windmills, hundred of them. It was also VERY WINDY. Great source of power. 
It sure can push the motor home all over the road.
