Signs were posted that said not to disturb them, but we were allowed to go out on the sand close to them if we wanted to. Nobody did, so we didn't either.
We watched as they came on to the sand and headed out to sea. Mostly they just slept there, rolling over and getting comforable. There were a few baby seals snuggling near their moms. That was cute!
Joni listend to a news broadcast, not long ago, which said the seals were causing a problem. Some of them were trying to cross the road and causing havick. They were being "encouraged" to stay on the sand and in the water.
