July 4th weekend, we took a trip back to Texas from Colorado to attend Delton's 50th High School Reunion - Stamford High School!
Many attended and Delton had a ball. Joni even had a great time. Delton has some great "old" friends.
Delton grew up in Stamford, Texas, a small town in west Texas. It was a class of 76 and most knew each other. 
Delton enjoyed seeing people he hadn't seen in 50 years, recognizing some and having trouble recognizing others.
Football was a major part of Delton's high school years. Stamford won 4 state championships out of the 5 years he attended junior high through high school. Coach Anderson was at the reunion and was presented a ball from winning the state championship game during Delton's senior year.
Speeches were made at the luncheon and Delton was one of the presenters.
We sat at the dias table, joining Delton's old girlfriend Martha and her husband Shelby. Martha told Joni some old secrets about Delton. It was so sweet!
Fun was had by all.
