Delton's brother Ron, and his wife Trude, took a trip up to Colorado with some of their friends.
We all got together quite a few times.
We went kayaking down the Rio Grand. The river was
very low so we had to dodge many rocks and boulders. We even got hung up on the rocks in some of the very low spots. But, fun was had by all.

We have been hosting weekly karaoke sessions in Fun Valley and Ron's group joined us for one. See Ron, Trude, Mike and Donna singing - "I Got You Babe"! What fun!More friends of theirs, Dennis and Becky Birdsong came down from Colorado Springs to join us. We kept staring at each other and knew we had met before. Finally after 1 day we remembered. We had met at an RV park in Austin about 10 years ago. What small world.
Ron and Trude's friends, Shirley and Kermit, own a cabin close to Fun Valley. That's where they were staying. What a beautiful place - up on a mountain. 
They had the logs brought in from Canada. The house was first built in Canada, then the logs were numbered, the house was taken down and brought to Colorado. Then it was rebuilt by the number system. As you can see, it is one fine cabin!
The bed was made from logs that were on the 8 acres that Shirley and Kermit own. Pretty nice!
