Our grandchild, Shauntal Bradley, has graduated from Northwest High School. It's hard to believe. It seems like she was just born.
(Shown is Shauntal with her Mom, Shawna, and her Dad, Ken.) Ken is Delton's son.The ceremony was held at the University of North Texas in Denton because the class was too large to be held at the high school. Shauntal will be attending UNT in the fall and plans on being a grief councelor.
After the graduation, we went to Ken and Shawna's house for a party. Since it was such a beautiful day we were able to enjoy the afternoon by the pool.
Several members of our family were there. Delton's ex-wife, Sandy, and here husband celebrated the day with us. (shown seated wearing a blue blouse). Shawna's Mom was there with several members of their family.
Lisa, our niece, and her husband Jay, came with their kids.
Kandy and Val Franklin, who are good friends of ours, also came.
Kandy is a realtor and helped Ken and Shawna when they sold their old house and bought a new one. Some of Shauntal's grade school teachers joined the party also.
A good time was had by all. We know Shauntal has a great future ahead of her.
