We met Fred and Sue in Destin, Florida. They were park hosts at Top Sail State Park, a beautiful park 1 mile from the Gulf of Mexico.We kept in touch via e-mail and found out we would both be in California this winter.
They camped about 1 hour from us on the coast.Carlsbad was a great place to meet in the middle. Lunch at Dini's in Carlsbad on the coast was followed by a walk along the beach.
Fred and Sue were leaving for Baha, Mexico with an RV caravan a few days later. Their Mexican trip would last 1 month. We can't wait to hear all about it. Meeting new people in new places all over the country doesn't mean we will never see them again. RVers travel all over and make plans to meet again in different locations. Pretty neat, huh?
