A group of us, about 12 kayaks (Joni is in the royal blue kayak) and 3 boats, decided to take a full moon kayak ride out to one of the islands on the intercoastal (Indian River), have a picnic and then paddle back to Ocean Resorts in the moon light. It was outstanding!!!
We brought our diner and lit a fire.... watched dophin swimming all around us
(see photo - it's hard to spot the dolphin - little spot in left/middle of the picture) and enjoyed each other's company!
We brought blinking lights, flashlights and glow in the dark bracelets for our float back in the dark. Sorry..... all our pictures that were taken in the dark did not come out. But, the moon light was bright and we could see pretty well with the moon light shining over the water. It was so peaceful!At times, I wondered what was lurking below as we floated over the dark water. Joni was in her kayak, but Delton was riding in one of our friend's boats. The 3 motor boats were escorts for the kayaks.
Could this be beach paradise???? I think so!!!!
